By the end of this workshop, participants know or be able to:
Learners will have the option to earn a certificate of attendance or a certificate with Continuing Education Units (CEU) upon completion of the workshop. To earn a certificate with CEUs, the learner must successfully pass the learning assessment with a score of 80% or higher. All learners must complete the post-event evaluation to earn credentials.

Having taught in higher education since 1993, Tim Mousel is a full-time faculty member in the Kinesiology department at LSC-Online, serves as the Department Chair of Chemistry, Kinesiology, and Physics, and co-chair of the AI Task Force. He is on a one-year special assignment, working directly with the Lone Star College Chancellor's office on strategic initiatives.
An award-winning educator, Tim has been honored with the 2022 Lone Star College-Online Faculty Excellence Award, the 2023 NISOD Excellence Award, and the 2023 Master Presenter - International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence from the University of Texas.
Tim's insights on the impact of generative AI on higher education have been featured twice in Forbes magazine. Harvard University has also recognized his innovative approach, publishing his work in the Harvard AI Pedagogy Project.
A highly sought-after keynote speaker, he has delivered presentations at prominent conferences and events nationwide. His expertise extends to esteemed government organizations, where he serves as an AI educational consultant for the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB). In September 2024, he presented to the Department of Defense and Space Force on "Inspiring Innovation: Streamlining Tasks, Boosting Productivity".
Tim's passion for programming led him to develop two commercial, educational AI tools released before the advent of ChatGPT.
