College faculty members face many complex and interconnected struggles, such as boosting enrollment, motivating students, increasing retention rates, and instructing students who may or may not be “college-ready.” These challenges can often feel isolating. Faculty collaboration, idea sharing, and planning are key to fostering student success and overcoming challenges as a community. This workshop provides participants with experience collaborating on lesson plans and the opportunity to brainstorm and share promising practices regarding what's working (or not) in the classroom. Participating in this workshop will help build confidence and competence in new and veteran faculty members.

Learners receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of a workshop evaluation. To earn CEUs and a certificate denoting the number of CEUs earned, the learner must successfully pass the learning assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
Dr. Ericka Landry, who has worked in K-12 and higher education for over 20 years, has a passion for personal and professional growth. Dr. Landry currently serves as a Senior Organizational Development Consultant working with c-suite level executives in Houston, Texas. In this role, Dr. Landry enjoys providing strategy and support to foster a culture of employee engagement and excellence. As an adjunct faculty member at Lone Star College, Dr. Landry mentors and provides high-quality learning opportunities for students in Learning Frameworks First-Year Experience courses. Dr. Landry holds degrees from the University of Arkansas at Monticello (B.B.A.), Houston Baptist University (M.Ed.), and Sam Houston State University (Ed.D.). Dr. Landry has received numerous facilitator certifications, including being recognized as a Master Presenter by NISOD.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund requests, minus a $25 administrative fee, must be received no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled event. Refunds will not be given for no-shows. Registrants who have an outstanding balance and do not attend the workshop are responsible for the $25 administrative fee. Substitutions are accepted at any time prior to the workshop by submitting a written request to Nathan Colon. The individual requesting the transfer is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with the transfer.
