Any items such as tickets for the Excellence Awards Dinner or San Antonio River Walk that you are paying with personal funds, should not be added to your conference registration as our system does not allow you to split payments. Complete your registration and then create a separate order for items you are paying for separately.
NISOD’s International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence is the definitive gathering of community and technical college educators passionate about teaching and learning. Over the years, NISOD’s annual conference has provided faculty, administrators, and staff with the resources, ideas, and solutions that drive excellence in all areas of community and technical college campuses.

All conference activities take place at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas. NISOD has arranged special discounted rates for conference participants. Learn more.
What Does the Registration Fee Include?
Not included in the Sunday Only registration fee (but might be available to add during the registration process):
* 2025 Excellence Awards recipients receive a complimentary dinner ticket. Guest tickets can be purchased for $75.
Cancellation and refund requests must be sent to learning@nisod.org by May 9, 2025. A refund of the conference fee, minus a $100 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by that date. Due to obligated costs on the part of the conference, we are unable to refund registration fees after that date.
A transfer of your full registration is permitted prior to the conference by submitting written request to learning@nisod.org. The individual submitting the transfer request is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated with that substitution.
Unfortunately, due to space limitations, guests cannot attend sessions, coffee breaks, or meal functions. Sessions, meals, and break foods are only for registered conference participants.
Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NISOD meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution of the registrant or attendees’ image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities by NISOD.
